Mau: Former Delhi University Students Union President and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) West Bengal in-charge Shakti Singh has been re-elected to represent India in the G20 Youth Summit in Brazil.
Shakti Singh, a resident of Mau district, represented India in the G20 last year as well. He will now go to Belém do Para and Rio in Brazil in June, August and November for the youth conference meeting where he will put forth his opinion on the topic of “Diversity and Inclusion”.
There is an atmosphere of joy in the entire district due to the election of Shakti Singh. Shakti has been continuously representing the country on global forums since becoming the Delhi University President and is also playing a strong role in the politics of the country and the state.
Shakti Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to America as an Indian representative last year. Since then, Shakti Singh’s election for the G20 was considered certain.
